See the attachments for what you were actually looking for, a delay that feeds back in to its own effects chain. Kenny, have you ever checked out the stuff in the utils/ folder of the JS effects ? True sound hacking I call that kind of stuff. Hats off to you and the folks at Groove3 for making really useful products - they've made an immediate impact on how I do my work in Reaper. I've read about these concepts, but seeing them 'in use' would probably make things much more clear. Now, I admit, I haven't really seen the need to do that (at least not in my type of workflow), but I'd love to better understand that concept, along with the pin-control stuff (in/out) when using plugins. Did I miss it, or is that something you didn't cover? Granted, it doesn't seem very complicated, but it would be cool to have that.Īlso, one thing that continues to confuse me (and that's easy to do ) ) is the whole multi-channel thing - where you can send audio from a single track through multiple channels. I'm about 3/4 of the way through all the V4 segments, but I didn't see anything on screen sets. Thanks for the tips, tricks, and hints you've passed along in both of these videos - and for the solid way in which you presented all the great features of Reaper itself. I bought the Reaper 3 version when I first found out about it, and now I bought the Reaper 4 version. Putting something like this together can be challenging (like any project we do) and getting quick feedback from the people learning from it really makes it all worth while. Just wanted to thank everyone for the kind words and support. This is a real eye-opener.lots of 'Doh' moments here.Your efforts are greatly appreciated Kenny.cheers.:) Just ordered and am downloading as I type. I loved the "dockers" one, I did not know you could do all this!! Kenny's rapid fire approach is great for covering lots of info fast. I find it really useful to read the manual, or other supporting books, then look at the videos. That has filled in a lot of spaces where i could'nt understand the manual. Thanks for the continuing effort of supporting reaper users. Will buy as soon as some money hits the paypal account, in a few days. Thanks for doing this Kenny, I'm sure it's an excellent resource, just like your other videos :-). I am just curious, if I am off base just ignore me! So I take it that there are new V4 videos in with the V3 videos from your first DFTR series? Quick question, you mention that this is not a "new" V4 video series. Things have changed in both of those videos but parts of them work the same as they did in Version 3. Tracks existed before Version 4 but the Track Manager didn't. It didn't exist before Version 4.Īnd a video like Tracks and the Tracks manager is a hybrid. Because we need to know it.Ī video like Mouse Modifiers has only new stuff. I don't think very much changed in Reaper 4 for The Routing Matrix. So, some things that are covered, already existed before Reaper 4.įor example. My point was that it's not a "What's New" in Reaper 4. None of these videos were shot in Version 3. These tutorials are "Reaper Explained".Įverything has been re-done. Filechute dropbox free#Just watched the free video about Take FX, nicely explained, good work! :) (Take FX are not new to Reaper 4, though ) ) I want to thank everyone and this forum for their support.
